Fall Allergy Favorites

If you’re thinking that your Fall allergies are worse than previous years, you are not alone. This year’s ragweed seems to be causing a great amount of discomfort (think: itchy watery eyes, runny nose, congestion, and cold like symptoms)

Here are some of our favorite supplements to help alleviate some of the discomfort so you can get back to enjoying the great outdoors:

Bromelain – a protein-digesting enzyme mixture derived from the stem, fruit, and juice of the pineapple plant. It has a centuries-long history of being used to treat medical ailments. People use bromelain orally, to reduce inflammation and swelling — particularly of the nasal passages. It can also reduce soreness in aching muscles.

Nettle Leaf – Another great option for sinus support, Nettle Leaf can help maintain upper respiratory health

Quercetin w/ BromelainQuercetin is an antioxidant flavonoid found in many plants and foods. Research suggests that adding quercetin to the diet may help to relieve allergy symptoms. Research reports that quercetin can have anti-allergic and antihistamine properties.
