At The Local Grocer, we are passionate about living sustainably and reducing our carbon footprint. Our 110-panel solar array powers not only Table + Tonic, our farm-to-table café + deli, but our market freezers and coolers as well. In the Market, you’ll find that we offer bulk foods, oils, vinegars, and tamari. Additionally, we carry bulk laundry detergent, household items, and personal care items. By purchasing in bulk, you’re reducing the amount of packaging used, which contributes to decreasing your carbon footprint. Lastly, we use recycled and compostable to-go wear, plastic free packaging anywhere we can, and non-toxic cleaning products.
We participate in the NH Double Up Bucks, which means that those who use their EBT cards get 50% off fresh produce. We contribute to numerous local charitable organizations every year. We also collect and donate cafe food scraps to local farmers for compost and animal feed.
